Meet Your Facilitator
My name is Sarra Rashid. I am a Certified Peer Supporter through Peer Support Canada. I recently graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Social Work at the University of Ottawa. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education in Counselling & Psychotherapy at OISE, University of Toronto.
I have a background in active listening, peer support, and crisis intervention.
I strongly believe that we all have an innate desire to be seen, heard and validated; for people to fully accept us for the person that we truly are. I have found that there is an immense healing power that comes from genuine human connection and sharing lived experiences.
Having dealt with my own challenges in life, my goal is to create a non-judgemental and welcoming spaces, where you feel empowered and supported as you navigate your personal journey.

Reaching out for help is an incredibly brave first step. You deserve support.
